If we are not able to find a place for you to stay we will be honest and tell you right away.

Instead, we work with property owners, who pay a small fee to list their properties on our platform. This way, you can find your perfect stay without any extra cost.

All properties provided by Dream TDY include essential amenities like Wi-Fi, kitchen supplies, linens, parking, and laundry facilities. Many listings also feature extras such as pools, BBQ areas, movie rooms, and pool tables to make your stay even more enjoyable!

No, a non-availability letter (NAL) is not required to stay off base. However, if your local installation has availability, your reimbursement will be limited to the on-base lodging per diem rate. At Dream TDY, we work closely with property owners to ensure your nightly rate is as close to the lodging per diem rate as possible. In most cases, the rate will match the per diem rate, but in certain markets, there may be out-of-pocket costs for larger family-sized properties due to housing availability and local expenses. For more details, please reference the Joint Travel Regulation (JTR Table 2-14).
Property Owners
Dream TDY is a specialized housing platform connecting military members on TDY with comfortable, affordable, and fully furnished properties near military bases. As a property owner partnering with us, you’ll gain access to a reliable market of military renters, and have the opportunity to support service members. We handle the marketing and connections, so you can focus on maximizing your property’s potential.
The finder’s fee for property owners varies depending on the duration of the training, location, and other factors. We believe in transparency, so all pricing details, including any fees, will be clearly communicated to you upfront before any agreements are made.
To be eligible for a partnership with Dream TDY, your property must meet the following requirements:
- Be located near a military base or training location.
- Be fully furnished and move-in ready.
- Include all utilities including Wi-Fi and essential amenities like laundry facilities, kitchen supplies, linens, and parking.
- Comply with military reimbursement guidelines (e.g., meet per diem rates)
- Be available for short-term or longer TDY-length rentals.
We also encourage properties with additional amenities like pools, movie rooms, or family-friendly features to enhance their appeal to military renters.
